A charity based in Delta, UT, focused on helping rural veterans transition safely back to the civilian world. This is the first time I ever delivered this speech.

Normally, I find myself speaking to civilian audiences, so while it was a nice change of pace for me to talk to a room full of soldiers, it was also well off script, and that shows. I cast aside my notes early on during this address; subsequently, this speech is unpolished and imperfect, but it is from the heart. I hope you get something of value from it even if you're not a warfighter.
